I was gonna ask what Vibe is. I now hope pubs never open again just so geoffpikey can't go in one.

Re: What's your favourite type of pub?
Wherever sells a good pint of VIBE.
Or a nice CHILL and tonic.
With some ARTISAN pissoirs.

The Vibe Cunt Arms in Coolsville, bro. Laters.

I've never been a fan of the pickled egg but if that's what the people want then so be it. Pickled Onions are more my cup of tea tbh.

Either way it keeps the vegetarians happy...hence the Spanish tortilla as well 😉

The Prince of Wales, 35 Princes Terrrace, Plaistow on a Saturday night took some beating.

Apart from that a summer evening in a pub garden with some nice ladies to look at and a cold pint of Morretti for me.

Re: What's your favourite type of pub?
Finding a pub that ticks all of the below is very difficult indeed these days. My local ticks the top five so will do me, especially as it is only a very short walk away. Once it manages to open I know most people down my road will be sure to go in and give it a much needed boost.

Reasonably priced drinks
Decent food
Friendly
Dart board
Beer Garden
Pool table
All live football
Decent jukebox

Nope. Dont do sticks. They are supposed to help in certain terrain but I never felt the need.

bruuuno 3:12 Sun Jun 7
Re: What's your favourite type of pub?
Do you carry those sticks on your hikes to the pub branded?

gank 1:42 Sun Jun 7
Re: What's your favourite type of pub?
Branded, I know that, which is why I am able to WALK to any pub in the country but if you were to HIKE to any of my locals, at the very best you wouldn't get served and told to fuck off sharpish. At worst... well, you know.

Re: What's your favourite type of pub?
No hot food, no kids after 7pm and no dogs. Four tellies with different sports channels, football and horse racing betting clubs, digital jukebox, pool table. Basically the pub at the end of my road.

Re: What's your favourite type of pub?
Good question.

I like to find a new place anywhere I travel that surprises me. People, food, drink, vibe etc.

I have a great local that is full of really interesting locals from posties to actors which I really love but otherwise it’s about finding a new place.

There are several pubs in Soho I always really enjoy for the people and vibe.

However, my favourite pub of all is the one you arrive at after a really long hike in the winter.

Mashed

I’ve been to that cider bar in Newton Abbot, after an afternoon at the Tuckers Maltings beer fest. Very rustic indeed! Cider served up in old fashioned glass tankards. May venture back in there Sept if the fest is still on

Chuck a few pickled eggs into that mix and I'll completely retract everything I said.

Make a RANGE of pickled eggs and I'll throw in an apology.

Clean, tidy, tiled hipster look microbrewery.

Yes I am a wanker but I just like it.

Re: What's your favourite type of pub?
Mine is a proper locals pub, which is where I always drink.

Fairly quiet during the week, a lot busier at weekends when there's live music. Great bunch of people, never any problems and a pint still under £4.

Decent garden, too.
